Song From The Heart

Song From The Heart

————————————

It little matters what he sings
For greatly touching is how he sings
It little matters what he wears
For in Soul he’s free of worldly garments
It little matters where he lives
For he dwells in the sacred place of God

And even if the world be filled with strife
He is at peace in the Lord’s abode

It little matters what others think
For he truly sings from a place of love
It little matters that he seems a child
For he is mighty and grown in Soul
It little matters his environment
For great is his blissful state of being

And even if critics find him faulty
He abides under the shadow of God

Unperturbed by the troubling of men
His joy is in the singing of loving tunes
Though he has no gadget or strings to play
His voice is sweet and touched with love
Asking for no rewards in return
He freely sings in joy for all to hear

And even the Lord hearkens to his song
For the Lord knows his heart is pure.
